Draughtsman/Designer

Function

As a Draughtsman/Designer, you’ll be a key member of the engineering department. You’ll be joining a team of 10 colleagues and working on challenging projects ranging from theatres to sports halls.

In this role, you will be responsible for the entire process: from creating creative designs and concept drawings to drawing up production plans.

• You use both 2D and 3D CAD programmes to develop technical designs in detail.
• You’ll be closely monitoring production on the factory floor, right next to your workstation.
• In addition, you will remain involved in the project until its successful completion.

In short, you ensure a perfect blend of creativity, technical skill and execution.

Profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.
• Strong technical and spatial awareness.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of SolidWorks is an advantage).
• A proactive approach to work with a hands-on attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch.
• Precision and an eye for detail in your work.
• Ability to work well with others within a dynamic team.

Organisation

The company specialises in the development, manufacture and installation of telescopic grandstands and seating for theatres, auditoriums and sports halls. They have over 40 years’ experience and are involved in international projects. They can handle everything in-house from start to finish, from raw materials to the finished product.

The company has around 80 employees.
