HVAC Technician

Function

As an HVAC Technician, you are the face of the company when visiting customers’ homes. You are responsible for ensuring that the systems operate flawlessly.

• You will be responsible for the maintenance and installation of various heating, air-conditioning and energy systems.
• Your customers are mainly private individuals and small businesses in the East Flanders region.
• In this role, you will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, identify faults and provide sustainable solutions.
• In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the installations and providing expert advice to our customers to help them get the most out of their system.
• You’ll eventually be working independently, but you can always count on the support and expertise of a supportive team.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a reliable technician who enjoys variety, technology and customer contact. Ideally, you will meet the following requirements:

• Completed technical training or equivalent through experience.
• Preferably in possession of a Cedicol certificate (heating oil) and a gaseous fuels certificate (minimum G1).
• A refrigeration qualification (Category I) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of boiler maintenance and general electrical engineering skills.
• Basic VCA certification and experience with aerial work platforms (training available).
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• An excellent command of Dutch.

It provides installation, maintenance and repair services for, amongst other things, heating systems, heat pumps, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing and solar panels. They offer comprehensive solutions for both new builds and refurbishments, with a focus on comfort, energy efficiency and sustainable technologies. They primarily serve the residential market and smaller businesses. Due to growth, they are currently looking for an HVAC technician.
