HVAC project leader

Function

As an HVAC Project Manager, you will oversee various technical projects in the fields of refrigeration, air conditioning and HVAC. You will be responsible for the preparation, implementation and handover of turnkey projects for major clients in the retail, logistics and industrial sectors.

• You analyse project files and draw up clear action plans.
• You will ensure the efficient planning of resources, staff and equipment.
• You will coordinate the implementation, monitor deadlines and intervene promptly in the event of any bottlenecks.
• You will proactively maintain contact with suppliers, subcontractors and the in-house team.
• You will monitor the project budget and report clearly to management.
• You are the main point of contact for customers and monitor their satisfaction.
• You will oversee the handover and aftercare of projects and optimise processes for future assignments.

Profile

Our client is looking for a true organiser and team player with proven technical knowledge and leadership skills in the field of HVAC or refrigeration engineering.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electromechanics, air conditioning, refrigeration technology or equivalent through experience.
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience as a project manager in HVAC or industrial refrigeration.
• Excellent knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Experience with ERP and project planning software.
• A good knowledge of legislation and regulations; VCA certification is an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills, solution-oriented and decisive.
• A motivational and clear communicator.
• Team-oriented, organised and proactive.
• Fluent communication in Dutch.
• Knowledge of French or English is an asset.
