HVAC-S and Electrical Technical Draughtsman

Function

We are looking for an HVAC-S and Electrical Technical Draughtsman for an innovative and growing company in the province of Antwerp. You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team where technical expertise, collaboration and quality are key priorities. The company specialises in building-specific design studies and develops solutions for sustainable and energy-efficient buildings.

In this role, you will translate technical input into clear and accurate plans for HVAC-S and electrical installations. You will work on a wide range of projects and contribute to the design, development and monitoring of technical dossiers. Thanks to the combination of practical experience and design expertise within the team, you will have the opportunity to learn, take on responsibility and help build future-oriented projects.

• Drawing up technical plans for HVAC installations, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Drawing up detailed diagrams and implementation plans in accordance with the applicable standards and legislation.
• Supporting project teams with the technical integration of installations into building plans.
• Consult with engineers, contractors and other stakeholders on design choices and project requirements.
• Checking and correcting drawings to ensure error-free and timely delivery.
• Working with Revit for 3D modelling and integrating HVAC and electrical systems into the design.
• Contributing ideas for practical and efficient solutions within sustainable and energy-efficient projects.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a technically strong candidate with a keen interest in installation techniques and precision drafting tasks. You do not need to have years of experience; 0 to 3 years’ experience is sufficient, provided you are motivated to learn and further develop your technical knowledge.

• You have a qualification as a technical draughtsman or have completed a technical course in HVAC, electromechanics or electrical engineering.
• Ideally, you will already have some experience in drawing up plans for HVAC and/or electrical installations.
• You have a good knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit; experience with BIM is an added bonus.
• You are interested in HVAC systems, electrical installations and building services engineering.
• You work accurately, have an eye for detail and contribute practical ideas tailored to each project.
• You are a confident communicator and enjoy working with colleagues and external partners.
• You are keen to learn, committed and able to accurately translate technical information into clear plans and diagrams.
