Front line manager warehouse

Function

As Front Line Manager, you take day-to-day charge of a modern warehouse. You ensure that goods flow, planning and automation are flawlessly aligned.

You:

• tracks operational performance (loading times, inventory accuracy, automation rate...)
• making adjustments where necessary and keeping an overview of the entire logistics flow
• works with advanced systems such as Easy WMS, SAP and other production and quality platforms
• performs initial interventions in case of technical or IT-related issues
• manages a team of around 25 warehouse employees (forklift drivers, outbound operators, shuttle drivers...)
• ensures optimal personnel planning, training and coaching

In short: you are the point of contact on the floor and make sure everything runs safely, efficiently and correctly.

Profile

You do not need to have years of experience - a strong drive and eagerness to learn are equally important.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in logistics, supply chain, industrial automation or similar
• First experience in warehousing/logistics is a plus, not a must
• Affinity with technology and IT: you feel at home in systems and can analyse and adjust them
• You are a natural people leader with a sense of initiative
• Very good knowledge of Dutch, and basic knowledge of French/English
• Willing to work in a five-shift system (continuous)
