Freight forwarder

Function

For the vacancy for a Freight Forwarder at our client’s company, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Together with your seven colleagues, you will be responsible for planning the routes for international road haulage
• You will manage your assignments from start to finish, including invoicing and following up with clients
• You will be responsible for negotiations with carriers and partners
• You check that there are no errors in the customs documents drawn up for your international journeys
• You will mainly be responsible for Southern and Eastern Europe
• You will work Monday to Friday during the day, starting between 8.00 am and 9.00 am

Profile

For the vacancy of Expeditor at our client, you recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You have had your first successful experience as an international transport planner
• You have knowledge of customs documents
• You can express yourself professionally in Dutch and English and have a basic knowledge of French
• You are good with a computer
• You’re a team player, but in the long run you’ll be able to carry out your duties independently

Our client is a logistics service provider with several branches in Belgium and France, amongst other places.
