Are you a driven professional with a passion for air freight and exports? We are looking for an enthusiastic Export Agent to join our team. As an Export Agent, you will be responsible for a varied range of tasks and play a crucial role in our export process.
Your duties as an Export Agent:
- Organising bookings with airlines to transport shipments in a timely and efficient manner
- Preparation of airway bills and other transport documents as per requirements
- Checking packaging and labels of shipments in the warehouse to ensure everything complies with international regulations
- Follow-up on security checks, ensuring all shipments are compliant with regulations
- Preparation of customs documents and ensuring smooth handling of export procedures
- Aftercare of shipments: checking that everything has been handled correctly and reporting where necessary
Profile
In this vacancy, our preferred Expeditor has the following profile description:
- Languages: Dutch very good knowledge, French and English good knowledge
- Experience in the logistics sector is a plus
- Be organisationally strong and detail-oriented
- Problem-solving ability to act quickly and efficiently
- Ability to work well with Microsoft Office
- No shifts, but daytime hours
- Passionate about air freight
