What does your day look like as a polyvalent freight forwarder?

• Preparation of all necessary documents, related to sea freight imports and exports;
• Receiving orders and deferring a file based on them;
• Preparation of customs technical documents;
• Transmission of transport orders;
• Complete handling of file from A-Z;
• Tracking the shipment to its final destination and informing customers about the status of the shipment;
• Reporting , recording and resolving any problems during transport.

Profile

For this position, we are looking for someone with:

• You can look back on initial work experience as a sea freight forwarder or obtained a graduate or bachelor's degree in logistics;
• Basic knowledge of container transport and maritime documentation is required;
• Professional communication skills in Dutch and English;
• Additional languages such as German and French are a plus;
• Experience in filing prior declarations with the Port of Antwerp is a plus;
• A smooth, sociable personality who enjoys working in a team;
• Ready to make a long-term investment in your career.
