Quality Officer – Food

Function

• Carrying out quality checks on raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products.
• Identifying discrepancies and determining the appropriate actions in consultation with the person responsible.
• To ensure that hygiene and quality standards are properly adhered to within the production process.
• Recording, analysing and monitoring quality data.
• Identifying quality issues and formulating proposals for corrective and preventive actions.
• Working with various departments to further optimise quality processes.
• To supervise and coach operators so that they work in accordance with the applicable quality and food safety standards.
• To actively contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Profile

• You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as food technology or food science.
• Experience in a quality assurance role within the food industry is a major asset.
• You have knowledge of quality systems and standards such as HACCP and BRC.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and can express yourself well in English.
• You work accurately, structured and have an eye for detail.
• You are hands-on, solution-oriented and enjoy taking the initiative.
• You are familiar with the standard MS Office applications; experience with an ERP system would be an advantage.
• You are a true team player who can motivate, support and hold colleagues to account where necessary.
• You work independently, take responsibility and are keen to learn.
