Do you like to be in charge, do you have a solution-oriented mindset, and does a dynamic logistics environment energise you? Then you might be the Fleet Controller we’re looking for!

In this role, you will ensure that the refrigerated container fleet is always safe, in top technical condition and ready for operational use. Thanks to your attention to detail and proactive approach, the cold chain is guaranteed to remain intact, and both customers and colleagues can count on a smooth service.

What’s your day like?

• You will ensure that the vehicles are always available at the port terminals
• You will be responsible for the technical management of the fleet: fuel management, inspections, maintenance, repairs and calibrations
• You will support the Customer Service, Sales and Claims departments with your technical knowledge and solution-focused approach
• You monitor the dashboard on a daily basis and take prompt action should any anomalies or incidents arise
• You will be responsible for the administrative tasks involved in fleet management
• You will be part of a rota for call-outs outside office hours and at weekends (you can work from home, and these hours are paid at a premium)

Profile

You are someone who enjoys taking on responsibility, keeping track of the big picture and adapting quickly when the situation calls for it. You feel at home in a logistics environment where every day is different, and you enjoy working with a variety of colleagues and departments.
