Field Service Technician
Function
As a Field Service Technician, you will help with the installation, commissioning and maintenance of smart warehouse and automation solutions in the Benelux. You’ll combine mechanical and electrical engineering with a practical, customer-focused approach. You’ll travel to carry out installations, maintenance and repairs, and ensure that the systems continue to operate reliably.
- Installation and assembly of vertical storage lifts and automated logistics systems;
- carrying out mechanical and electrical work during installation and commissioning;
- analysing and resolving technical faults;
- identifying the root causes of problems and developing sustainable solutions;
- carry out interventions with clients, either independently or together with colleagues;
- recording interventions and technical findings;
- co-ordinate with project managers, colleagues and clients regarding planning and technical requirements;
- contributing ideas on improvements and optimisations.
You’ll start with thorough training and on-the-job support, and build up your knowledge and responsibilities step by step. In time, you can progress to a role with greater autonomy and responsibility within field service.
Profile
You have a technical background, think logically and get a buzz from solving technical problems. We welcome candidates with 0 to 3 years’ experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or equivalent through experience;
- strong technical insight and a practical approach;
- proficient in both mechanical and electrical work;
- solution-focused, independent and proactive;
- flexible and keen to learn;
- a good knowledge of Dutch and English; you can get by in French;
- Experience in intralogistics or WMS is an advantage, but not a requirement;
- willing to work on an on-the-move basis within the Benelux.

They optimise storage space, increase operational efficiency, reduce errors and automate stock management processes. They are based in Melsele and operate across the Benelux region, with extensive experience in both traditional and automated warehouse systems.
