Fiber Designer

Function

• Herewith some of your duties as a Designer;
• You will be responsible for drawing up ground plans of fibre-optic networks in major Belgian cities.
• Your duties include designing, drawing and checking these plans.
• You will work with a drawing programme provided by the customer; on-the-job training will be provided in combination with AutoCAD.
• After drawing up the ground plans, you will note down all the necessary details for the installation of the fibre-optic networks.
• As a link between design and execution, you act as a direct link to our technicians on sites.
• You will join a cool and dynamic team, working closely with colleagues and the team coordinator.

Profile

Who are you?

• A technical education in IT, Digital Arts or equivalent through experience forms your basis; knowledge of fibre and telecoms is a big plus.
• You master Autocad and GIS well, and preferably bring several years of experience as a draughtsman.
• Fluency with the PC in general, combined with strong Excel skills, will make you efficient in your work.
• An eye for detail and accuracy are traits that characterise you.
• Working independently suits you well, while you are also a real team player.
• Being in possession of a driving licence B is expected of you.
