Your role as construction project manager

As project manager, you are the central link between customer, site and internal organisation. You take charge of the entire construction project - from handover to final delivery - and ensure that everything goes according to plan, budget and quality requirements.

• You will be responsible for the execution of construction projects according to the specifications. These can be large-scale projects as well as several smaller projects.
• You lead site meetings, manage subcontractors and site supervisors, and closely monitor progress.
• You negotiate with customers for additional works and technical modifications outside the initial specifications.
• Since 80% of the work is carried out by subcontractors, experience with coordination of subcontractors and finishing techniques is essential.
• You ensure correct site administration, monitor planning and steer for a profitable result.
• You will report to the Projects Manager and act as a pivotal figure between all parties involved.

Profile

Profile - Who are we looking for?

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field (preferably structural, industrial or civil engineering).
• At least 4 years' experience as a project manager, site manager or in a technical coordination role within construction.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• You are communicatively strong and know how to build relationships with clients, study agencies and subcontractors.
• You enjoy working in a dynamic environment with a wide range of construction techniques.
• Stress-resistance and independence characterise your way of working.
• Good knowledge of French is a plus, as the projects are spread all over Belgium.
