Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for energy systems, cooling technology and technical innovation? Do you enjoy translating customer needs into practical, high-quality technical solutions? If so, this could well be the next step in your career.
As an Engineering Specialist – Power & Cooling, you will play a key role in the design and development of reliable power and cooling solutions for critical infrastructure. You will work closely with product management, manufacturing and customers to ensure that every solution meets the required performance levels, quality standards and certifications.
Supporting product development and customer solutions
- You translate customer requirements and commercial specifications into robust technical designs.
- You will assess the technical feasibility and cost implications of proposed solutions.
- You will support the quotation and proposal processes by providing technical expertise and performance analyses.
- You will provide technical input during client meetings and when design changes are made.
Working with production and quality
- You will work closely with production teams to ensure that designs can be produced efficiently.
- You will support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and commissioning activities.
- You investigate technical issues in the field and implement improvements to the design.
- You will manage technical documentation and support change management processes.
Ensuring compliance and technical quality
- You will ensure that all designs comply with the applicable electrical, thermal, safety and regulatory standards.
- You will support certification procedures and approval processes for new products and solutions.
- You will keep up to date with developments in standards, network codes and regulations within the various markets.
- You will play an active role in the continuous improvement of the quality, reliability and performance of our solutions.
Profile
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical discipline.
- At least 5 years’ experience in energy systems, thermal design, cooling technology or electrical engineering.
- Experience in designing industrial installations, outdoor installations or critical infrastructure.
- Knowledge of certification processes and regulations for technical products and systems.
- A good knowledge of standards such as IEC, IEEE and relevant local electrical regulations.
- Experience with technical calculations, system integrations and engineering documentation.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to solving technical problems.
