Electrical Engineering Technical Draughtsman

Function

As a Technical Draughtsman / Electrical Engineering Works Planner, you will ensure that projects are prepared correctly from a technical perspective before they are carried out. You will translate specifications into workable plans, draw up technical dossiers and support both the procurement and implementation phases. Depending on your experience, you will also have the opportunity to monitor projects on site.

As a Technical Draughtsman / Electrical Engineering Work Planner, you will be responsible for:

• Drawing up and amending electrical diagrams and detailed plans
• Analysing tender documents and technical dossiers
• Identifying the technical requirements for each project
• Creating and managing parts lists
• Preparing technical dossiers
• Supporting the procurement of materials and components
• Helping to prepare quotations
• Checking delivered materials and work carried out
• Managing and updating technical databases and reference libraries
• Working closely with project managers, technicians and suppliers
• Over time, you may be required to carry out site visits and help monitor projects

Profile

For the role of Electrical Engineering Technical Draughtsman, we are looking for a technically skilled individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for electrical installations. You work with precision, adopt a solution-oriented approach and feel at home in a technical project environment.

For this role as an Electrical Engineering Technical Draughtsman, you should ideally have:

• A technical qualification in electrical engineering, electromechanics or a similar field, or equivalent experience
• A keen interest in technical drawing and electrical installations
• Experience with AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, Eplan, DesignCAD, Caneco, Dialux or Cafca would be an advantage
• An analytical and meticulous approach to work
• An independent yet collaborative attitude
• Organisational skills and a structured approach to work
• A proactive and flexible approach
• Digital skills and an interest in technical software
• Driving Licence B
• An excellent command of Dutch is essential
