Electrical Designer

Function

As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for designing electrical schematics for distribution and control panels. You play a key role in various projects, ranging from manufacturing plants and hospitals to offshore wind farms and railway tunnels. Every board they deliver is bespoke, and you will ensure that the design fits their customer's requirements perfectly.

Your responsibilities:

• Analysing client specifications and contributing ideas on optimal and cost-efficient solutions.
• Study project data to identify potential difficulties in a timely manner and report to the project manager.
• Designing projects in EPLAN P8 according to the specifications and in compliance with legal guidelines.
• Manage technical administration and complete project file.
• Support cost estimators in the development of projects or concepts.
• Collaborate as a team and support colleagues in solving technical issues.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, energy technology or equivalent.
• Knowledge of EPLAN.
• Curious and communicatively strong.
• Willing to come to Heusden-Zolder more often in the beginning for training and getting to know colleagues; later limited to 1-2 times a month.
• Be able to work independently after the training period.
• Experience is not a requirement; school leavers are also welcome.
• Knowledge of Dutch.
