Electrical Design - Project Engineer

Function

As an Electrical Engineering Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to play a key role within a company that specialises in realising and executing electrical engineering installations in various sectors, excluding private individuals. Your main tasks:

• Elaborate the electrical design on the supplied plans, together with colleagues.
• Elaboration of design & builds.
• Performing various electrical calculations.
• Making lighting studies and cable and short-circuit calculations.
• Using AutoCad and SEE Electrical for design and studies.
• Discuss and present designs and studies to clients.
• Attend project meetings in case of design changes.
• Examine contracts and specifications to anticipate them in terms of variants and billings.
• Communicating to customers about problems, additional costs and variants.
• Contribute to the continuous optimisation of projects.

Profile

To be successful in this challenging role, it is important that you meet the following requirements:

• You have at least a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a similar technical degree.
• You have 3-5 years' work experience in a similar position.
• You have knowledge of AutoCad and SEE Electrical.
• A proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Knowledge of electrical calculations and designs within a project context.
• Flexibility and stress-resistance to meet challenges within strict deadlines.
