Function

Analysing figures is one thing. Actually doing something with them? That is where you make the difference.

As Credit Controller, you not only monitor outstanding payments, but take a broader view of risks, customer relations and commercial impact. You combine analysis with communication and work closely with sales to keep customers healthy and workable.

So not a purely administrative role. But a role with responsibility, consultation and impact.

Tasks

• Analysing clients' solvency and financial situation
• Tracking credit limits, payment terms and risks
• Managing, blocking and releasing orders
• Active follow-up of outstanding payments
• Preparing and following up files with litigators, lawyers and credit insurers
• Supporting sales with financial insights and customer information
• Evaluating existing customers and new enquiries
• Thinking along about improvements within credit management and processes

Profile

We are looking for someone who is analytically strong but also solid enough in communication and follow-up.

You recognise yourself (largely) in the following:

• Education in a financial field or relevant experience within credit control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You communicate fluently and dare to enter into difficult conversations
• You work proactively and take initiative
• You keep an overview, even when things get busier
• You are stress resistant and flexible
• Interest in financial analysis and risk management
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with good knowledge of the other language
