Credit Counsellor

Are you someone who likes to guide customers in their financial choices in a calm, clear and reliable manner?
For our client, a local banking and insurance firm, we are looking for a Credit Relationship Manager who derives energy from personal contact, good advice and long-term relationships.
This job is not about quick sales or pushing. But it is about listening, thinking along and correctly guiding customers through important financial decisions, such as buying a house, renovating or taking out a personal loan.
You will join a small and close-knit team, where everyone knows and supports each other.
What you will do
As Credit Relationship Manager, you will be the point of contact for customers with credit-related questions. You take the time to understand their situation and consider which solution best suits their plans, possibilities and future.
Specifically:
- You will advise customers on credit solutions such as mortgage loans and consumer loans.
- You listen to their needs and translate them into clear and honest advice.
- You follow up existing customers and new leads in a professional, warm manner.
- You clearly explain conditions, opportunities and points of interest.
- You build trusting relationships with customers step by step.
- You will work closely with your colleagues and share knowledge within the team.
Profile
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and radiates confidence. Someone who can think along commercially, but always starts from the customer's interest.
You are a good fit for this position if you:
- Have experience or a relevant background in banking or credit counselling;
- Have an interest in credit and enjoy informing customers correctly;
- communicates smoothly and accessibly;
- handles confidential information with discretion and care;
- customers like to follow up, without being pushy;
- believes in lasting relationships rather than quick sales.
You don't have to be able to do everything perfectly already. Do you have a good foundation in banking or credit and want to grow further in this direction? Then this could definitely be a great next step.
