Counter Clerk (2 shifts)
Function
As a counter clerk at our client’s premises in Oostkamp, you’ll be the first point of contact for drivers and will ensure that all the administrative processes behind the transport operations run smoothly. Thanks to your attention to detail and organisational skills, everything will run like clockwork.
What will you do?
- You will welcome and assist both in-house and external drivers at the counter
- You will ensure that transport and freight documents are correctly drawn up and processed
- You will assist the dispatcher with their day-to-day tasks
- You will carry out administrative follow-up on transport files and ensure they are correctly processed
- You will help to ensure the quality and security of all documents
- You are a key link between drivers, planning and administration
Profile
You enjoy a dynamic working environment and are able to keep a clear overview even during busy periods.
In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and have a basic knowledge of French and English
- Knowledge of German and/or Spanish is a major asset
- You are administratively strong and work accurately
- You stay calm under pressure and switch easily between different tasks
- You are independent, proactive and have strong organisational skills
- You feel at home in a logistics environment
- You are comfortable using standard computer programmes
- You’re happy to work two shifts (06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 – 22:00)
