Renewable Energy Business Consultant

Location: Ledegem, West Flanders, Belgium Specialisation: Engineering Salary: € 3.000 - € 4.500 gross / month Contracttype: Indefinite time Hours: 40 hrs/week Work ritme: Day

Function

As Renewable Energy Business Consultant You will be the first point of contact for customers seeking a well-thought-out solution in the fields of heat pumps, geothermal energy, HVAC and other sustainable energy technologies.

You translate technical possibilities into clear, feasible and economically sound proposals that meet the needs of each client.

In this role, you will combine commercial acumen with a keen interest in technology. You will support customers from the initial contact right through to the final installation, looking beyond simply selling a product.

You analyse the full picture and contribute ideas regarding energy consumption, comfort, efficiency, payback period and technical feasibility.

Your duties will include:

  • conducting customer interviews and identifying needs and expectations;
  • providing advice on bespoke sustainable energy solutions;
  • drawing up and following up on commercial proposals and quotations;
  • coordinating technical capabilities with internal colleagues and relevant partners;
  • guiding clients through the entire process, from consultation to completion;
  • ensuring smooth communication, proper follow-up and a professional customer experience.

You’ll be working in a technical and forward-looking environment where quality, innovation and personalised advice are key. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with clients, excels at providing advice and is energised by solutions that make sense both technically and economically.

Profile

For this position, we are looking for a Renewable Energy Business Consultant preferably 3 to 5 years’ experience in a commercial or technical-commercial role. You are someone who communicates fluently, listens well and can convey complex information to clients in a clear and convincing manner.

You have a keen interest in technical matters and are keen to learn more about heat pumps, geothermal energy, HVAC and sustainable energy technologies. You don’t need to be a pure technician, but you do need to have a good grasp of technical matters to help devise solutions and ask the right questions.

In addition, you will bring the following:

  • a bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical, commercial or energy-related field;
  • relevant experience in sales, consultancy or project management;
  • strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude;
  • an analytical approach that enables you to estimate consumption, efficiency and payback period;
  • the drive to follow up on cases independently and identify commercial opportunities;
  • good organisational skills and a meticulous approach;
  • a proactive attitude and the ambition to help build sustainable projects.

You are persuasive without being pushy, work in a structured manner and feel at home in an environment where technical content and advice take centre stage.

Organisation

Our client is a technical company specialising in sustainable energy solutions, with a strong focus on geothermal energy and heat pump technology.

Drawing on their expertise, they help customers to heat and cool their homes in an energy-efficient and forward-looking way.

Offer

You’ll be joining a growing technical company where sustainability, innovation and personal development go hand in hand. As well as an exciting role offering plenty of substance and customer contact, you can look forward to an attractive, market-competitive remuneration package, tailored to your experience and expertise.

What to expect:

  • a competitive salary in line with your profile and experience;
  • non-statutory benefits such as meal vouchers and/or other relevant benefits;
  • a company car or mobility solution, depending on the employee’s profile and the terms agreed;
  • a role offering a great deal of autonomy and scope for initiative;
  • in-house support and opportunities to further develop your technical knowledge;
  • a stable working environment with a clear focus on forward-looking energy solutions;
  • a full-time and varied role offering the opportunity to make an impact on every client case.

You’ll have the opportunity to grow alongside the company in an environment where quality, expertise and customer focus are key.

Diversity and inclusion are important to CTRL-F.
Whoever, whatever or however you are or what you stand for, it is your talents that make the difference.
