Electrical Engineering Estimator

Function

• Analysing assigned projects on their content, both administratively and technically
• Assessing execution possibilities, methods, plans and specifications
• Drawing up targeted price enquiries and sending them to regular suppliers and subcontractors
• Comparing and assessing received quotations on their content
• Calculating cost prices for various electrotechnical installations
• Drawing up an accurate working budget
• Drawing up an attractive and accurate quotation together with the sales team
• Contributing to technical optimisations and alternative solutions
• Regular alignment with project managers and engineering
• Reporting to the lead estimator and contributing ideas within the team

Profile

• You preferably hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
• You have strong technical insight and an analytical mind
• You enjoy contributing ideas towards creative and well-considered solutions
• You communicate fluently in Dutch
• Knowledge of English and French is an asset
• You work fluently with MS Office
• Experience with calculation is a bonus, or you are willing to develop further in this area
• You work independently, take responsibility and remain accurate and goal-oriented
