Function

As Calculator in the region Come You will calculate the cost price of industrial and agricultural construction projects in Belgium and France. You will analyse plans and technical documents and translate these into clear and accurate quotations.

• Analysing plans, preliminary designs and technical dossiers.
• Preparing cost calculations for steel and concrete structures.
• Request and compare quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor the technical and financial feasibility of projects.
• Apply French standards, regulations and licensing conditions, or find out more about them.
• Work closely with representatives and the sales team.
• Provide technical information and advice to support customers and sales representatives.
• Contributing ideas for practical, high-quality and cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare quotations and ensure that cost estimates are followed up correctly.
• Do you have commercial experience? If so, the role could be expanded to include a commercial role as a sales representative.

Profile

We are looking for a a technically proficient and analytical cost estimator who enjoys working with figures and examining construction projects in detail.

• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Agricultural Science.
• Experience in cost estimation or the construction sector would be an advantage.
• Strong technical understanding and an interest in industrial and agricultural construction.
• Strong with figures and enjoys carrying out cost calculations.
• Meticulous, organised and critical when analysing case files.
• Good at keeping track of deadlines and setting priorities.
• A positive, enthusiastic and hands-on approach.
• A team player who works well with various teams.
• You can express yourself fluently in French.
• A good knowledge of MS Office, with a strong focus on Excel.
