Automation Supervisor

Function

Leadership & coordination

• You will manage the team of Automation Engineers.
• You set priorities and are responsible for task distribution and planning.
• You act as a technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• You ensure smooth cooperation between automation, maintenance and production.

Maintenance & machine reliability

• Together with your team, you will increase the reliability of installations through preventive and preparatory maintenance.
• You will manage maintenance activities and spare parts through a CMMS system.
• You monitor the stability of automation platforms (programming environment, servers, licences, networks, etc.).

Project operation & engineering

• You elaborate automation projects substantively with a focus on analysis and preparation.
• You will prepare functional analyses, technical documentation and programming standards.
• You validate and optimise PLC and HMI solutions (e.g. Siemens TIA Portal / WinCC).
• You watch over quality, uniformity and future-proofing of solutions.

Incident management & support

• During working hours, you will provide first-line support for automation issues.
• Outside working hours, you take on second-line support.

Profile

• Master of Electromechanics - Automation or equivalent through experience.
• Demonstrated experience with machine and process automation in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal.
• You work independently, structured and take responsibility.
• You have an analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• You are present at the site daily (structural teleworking is not possible).
• You feel comfortable in a flexible daily schedule.
