Automation Engineer with experience

Function

As a Controls Engineer / Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing electrical control systems:

• Analysing customer specifications, specifications and technical drawings
• Design and development of electrical schematics (EPLAN)
• Programming, testing and debugging PLC and servo systems (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell, etc.)
• Integrating industrial networks and communication with upstream systems (SCADA/MES)
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project managers
• Support with quotations and technical documentation
• Carrying out factory acceptance tests (FAT)
• Start-up and optimisation of installations at customers in Europe (±25% travel)

You will be involved in the entire process: from concept and engineering to commissioning and optimisation.

Profile

For this position, we are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with a strong technical base in automation:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, automation or electromechanics
• Experience with PLC programming (TIA Portal, Siemens, Rockwell, ...)
• Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols
• Experience with EPLAN or other electrical design tools
• Familiar with frequency drives, servo drives and motion control
• Analytically strong and solution-oriented
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English (French is a plus)
• Willing to travel internationally (±25%)

Both junior with strong fundamentals and experienced profiles are eligible.
