Automation Engineer with experience
Function
As a Controls Engineer / Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing electrical control systems:
- Analysing customer specifications, specifications and technical drawings
- Design and development of electrical schematics (EPLAN)
- Programming, testing and debugging PLC and servo systems (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell, etc.)
- Integrating industrial networks and communication with upstream systems (SCADA/MES)
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project managers
- Support with quotations and technical documentation
- Carrying out factory acceptance tests (FAT)
- Start-up and optimisation of installations at customers in Europe (±25% travel)
You will be involved in the entire process: from concept and engineering to commissioning and optimisation.
Profile
For this position, we are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with a strong technical base in automation:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, automation or electromechanics
- Experience with PLC programming (TIA Portal, Siemens, Rockwell, ...)
- Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols
- Experience with EPLAN or other electrical design tools
- Familiar with frequency drives, servo drives and motion control
- Analytically strong and solution-oriented
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English (French is a plus)
- Willing to travel internationally (±25%)
Both junior with strong fundamentals and experienced profiles are eligible.
