Assistant Architect

Function

As Assistant Architect you are an important link within the design team.

You will work closely with an experienced architect to realise creative and practical interior designs.

Your main responsibilities will include converting concepts into detailed technical drawings in Vectorworks, including renders, floor plans, sections and more.

You will also ensure flawless communication and cooperation with colleagues and external partners, always keeping an eye on the exceptionally high quality standard of their high-end interior design projects.

This position offers variety, challenge, and the chance to play a key role in ambitious and regularly international projects.

Profile

As Assistant Architect, we are looking for a driven professional who meets the following expectations:

• You have a degree in interior design, architecture or product development.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in interior design and technical drawings.
• Excellent knowledge of Vectorworks is mandatory, experience with Sketchup, render plugins, Photoshop and Indesign is a bonus.
• Familiarity with the Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Navision (or willingness to learn this).
• Understanding the process and supporting all facets of interior design projects.
• Very good communication skills in Dutch and preferably also in French.
• You are structured, accurate, flexible and have great perseverance.
• You are available from Monday to Friday and at least one weekend day a month in their showrooms in Ghent or Knokke.
