File Manager Accountancy

Function

You’ll start with a solid grounding in accountancy and have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you’ll continue to develop your expertise and work towards managing your own client portfolio independently.

Tasks

• Processing purchase, sales and financial transactions
• Preparing and filing VAT returns
• Helping with the preparation of interim and annual financial statements
• Assistance with the preparation of annual accounts and tax returns
• Processing and checking accounting documents
• Managing client files in collaboration with an experienced file manager
• Maintaining contact with customers and answering their queries
• To play an active part in the ongoing digitisation of the accounts

Profile

You are someone who enjoys taking on responsibility and has the ambition to progress further within the accountancy profession.

You recognise yourself (largely) in the following:

• You have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accountancy and Taxation or a similar financial qualification
• Some initial experience at an accountancy firm would be an advantage, but motivated new entrants are also welcome
• You work with precision and have an eye for quality
• You have a solution-oriented mindset and enjoy taking the initiative
• You combine an independent approach to work with a strong team spirit
• You communicate in a professional and customer-focused manner
• You feel at home in a digital working environment
• You speak Dutch fluently and have a basic knowledge of English and/or French
• You have the ambition to progress to become an independent case manager
