What are your responsibilities as a Tekla Designer?

• You will be responsible for detailing and designing steel structures.
• You create workhouse drawings so that production pieces are easy to assemble.
• You translate from 2D to 3D based on plans, sketches, notes and technical specifications.
• You work on projects from A to Z and report to the department manager of the drawing office.
• You assist the assembly teams on a daily basis so that the designed structures could be assembled correctly and accurately.
• Limited price enquiries are also part of your duties.
• Your analytical insight and accuracy ensure that all designs can be put into production on time.

They have more than 30 years of experience in, their own study and drawing office, production, corrosion protection & transport, assembly and installation of steel structures.

They are looking for a Tekla Designer to join their team.

For this Tekla Designer position, we are looking for someone with the following capabilities:

• You have a technical degree.
• You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience as a draughtsman.
• You have an affinity with the steel sector.
• You have strong technical insight and are familiar with the principles of technical drawing.
• Experience in 3D drawing with Tekla Structure is a must.
• Knowledge of Autocad is a plus.
• You are stress-resistant and flexible.
• You speak and write English fluently, Dutch is a plus.
