Technical Draughtsman

As technical draftsman, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You will be handed your projects by the sales department or by customers who contact you directly.
• You will draw custom cabinets and projects in a production-driven CAD/CAM programme (Corpus).
• You use your technical insight during the drawing process and make adjustments where necessary so that the full picture is right.
• You will answer customers by phone or email if there are technical questions or problems (about 10% of the time).

As a technical draftsman, you largely meet the following profile:

• You already have initial working experience as a technical draftsman.
• You have a passion for wood and/or interior design and preferably already have a first experience n the sector.
• You have sound technical (basic) knowledge.
• You have a strong 3D understanding and already have experience with 3D software programmes such as Corpus, Vectorworks, Autocad,...
• You are communicatively strong both to customers and colleagues.
• You speak good Dutch and preferably already have a good knowledge of French.
• Above all, you are very eager to join a fun group of about 20 colleagues.

Our client is a Belgian manufacturer of made-to-measure wardrobes, dressings, built-in cupboards, etc. They work on projects mainly for B2B customers (professional sellers and installers) and have been around for over 30 years. To further expand their team, they are currently looking for a technical draughtsman who can also support customers with technical questions or problems.

As a technical draughtsman, you should expect the following:
