Technical Operator HVAC

For our client in Ghent, we are looking for a Technical Operator HVAC. 

• The salesperson comes to you with a question from a customer (B2B)
• You will make quotations for various HVAC applications, a large part of your quotations will be for heat pumps
• You will follow up on quotations and provide technical advice to customers and sales
• You process your files administratively with the ERP system
• This is an internal function
• You will be part of the technical department which has 3 colleagues's
• You will report to the technical manager
• You will work Monday to Friday and every 2 weeks Saturday morning

If you would like to progress, there is a possibility within the company. In time, they are looking for someone who can help coordinate the technical department and take on complex projects.

• Completed technical training or equivalent through experience
• Minimum of a first working experience in a similar role
• Able to read technical drawings and electrical schematics's
• Knowledge of how heat pumps work
• Good command of the Dutch language
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Communicates smoothly and clearly
• You are willing to work half a Saturday every fortnight
• You are computer literate

This company is a distributor of HVAC and plumbing applications. They are located in Ghent and will exist 80 years next year. It is a family business and employs 14 people. They operate mainly in East Flanders and the customers are professional installers and installation companies.

• You work 40 hours per week and are entitled to 12 ADV days
• Leave is mainly free to choose, only in summer the company closes 9 days collectively (last 2 weeks of July)
