Technical administrative assistant / Calculator

As Technical Administrative Clerk/Calculator, you will manage the quotation mailbox and quotation planning. You will process simple quotations and support/grow in calculating more complex quotations. Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, Inventor or Tekla is an asset. A good command of the French language is essential, as 50% of our customers are French-speaking.

Core responsibilities:

• Managing the quotation mailbox and quotation planning.
• Communication with customers in Dutch and French.
• Translate customer requirements into a clear set of requirements and have them confirmed by the customer.
• Translate our offer into a clear proposal for the customer.
• Conduct any site visits and surveying.
• Preparation of calculation notes, including material costs, production processes and required working hours.
• Delivery of clear principle sketches to the draftsman.

Additional tasks:

• Drawing work (Autocad 3D, Inventor, Tekla,...)
• Preparation of parts lists
• Work preparation/Project follow-up

The ideal Technical Administrative Clerk/Calculator has excellent administrative skills and is proficient in the use of MS Office, including Access. You work in an orderly and structured manner and have an eye for detail. Clear communication comes naturally to you.

In addition, you have an understanding of technical drawing

Basic knowledge of standard EN1090 and basic safety and environmental knowledge are a very big plus.
