Stability Engineer

Our client offers an immediate permanent open-ended contract for full-time employment.

You will join a close-knit team that will take you into the story of this company. Ample on-the-job training is provided to familiarise you with the varied job content.  

As a stability engineer, the financial picture looks as follows:

• a gross monthly salary depending on relevant experience

You will start work as a structural engineer at the Wielsbeke site. The team of engineers and structural draftsmen in the engineering department will be waiting for you there. They will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of concrete calculations and geotechnics. Because this is the only way you can perform stability calculations for civil and industrial construction projects. 

Specifically, your duties will include the following:

• You support the sales and production department with technical advice 
• From your expertise, you help determine how the customisation is carried out 
• You will assist the draftsmen with the development of production and laying plans 
• You will keep up to date with current standards and codes of practice in Belgium and its neighbouring countries
• You will collaborate in keeping the technical library up to date (completing customer sheets, uploading reinforcement plans, updating regulations....

In short, you will work very closely with a team of experts to bring projects to a timely conclusion.

For our client, it is important that you

• can present a relevant degree and/or experience in structural engineering. If you also have experience with concrete and/or geotechnical calculations, this would be a great advantage.
• are a crack at balancing your general technical baggage and analytical, process-oriented insight
• you can express yourself well in Dutch, French and English
