Function

As a stability engineer, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

  • You will prepare stability studies of buildings and structures in concrete or steel.
  • You work closely with the draftsmen in stability, who you guide by drawing up structure, formwork and reinforcement plans.
  • You carry out precise checks as soon as the plans are drawn up.
  • During execution on site, you will advise the project manager and assist him if necessary.
  • You will coach and supervise a junior project engineer stability.

Profile

As a stability engineer, you will largely meet the requirements below:


  • You are a Civil or Industrial Engineer in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of experience.
  • You have no problem getting to the bottom of coomplex stability studies.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team, informing, motivating and consulting with colleagues.
  • You are familiar with common calculation software, primarily Scia. Experience with BIM/revit is a plus.
  • You are committed, curious and a real team player.
  • You know your way around and are willing to take responsibility.
  • You are open to improvements and actively think about solutions and enhancements yourself.

Organisation

Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. They are a total service provider for the construction industry with an in-house team of experienced architects and engineers.

They have been around for more than 50 years and employ some 70 people. Today, the 2nd generation is at the helm. In order to grow further, they are currently looking for an experienced stability engineer.
