Software Developer

Our client offers the following salary package for this position:

• Gross monthly salary between 3000-4500 euros depending on your experience and knowledge
• Car + fuel card

In this position, you are responsible for the development of the software:

• Together with other developers, you design algorithms and flowcharts
• You make specifications based on the needs of the customer
• You integrate software components and third-party programmes
• You verify and implement programs and systems
• You solve problems, debug and upgrade existing software
• You collect and evaluate feedback from users. So that you can recommend and implement improvements
• On the basis of the specifications, you produce an efficient code
• As a Software Developer, you prepare technical documentation for references and reporting

Our client in the Brussels area is a Belgian family business that supplies highly reliable and innovative products all over the world.
Their activities are mainly focused on Smart Mobility, for which they provide the software development entirely in-house. In this way, they can easily adapt their products to the needs of their customers.

• You have a Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent through experience
• The following technical skills are required:
  - Java/Scala (Play, Akka)
  - Kafka
  - Zookeeper
  - REST API
  - Angular (6 or more)
  - Git
  - Mongo DB
  
  
• You have already worked in an agile environment and are familiar with this methodology.
• You are stress resistant, have the necessary perseverance and excellent problem-solving skills.
• You are hands-on, goal-oriented and have good communication skills.
• As a Software Developer, you are fluent in French and/or Dutch and you have a good knowledge of English.
