Senior Bookkeeper

As Senior Bookkeeper at a well-known international retailer, you play a crucial role in the finance team. You will be responsible for a wide range of financial tasks and provide operational support to the foreign entities.

• Manage cash management and financing between group entities.
• Preparation of reports and cash forecasts, including monitoring of loans and various financial interventions.
• Tracking investments and managing hedging activities and intercompany loans.
• Managing a team of 7 accountants, including supporting the monthly close and acting as first point of contact.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper who knows how to identify with the following:

• Bachelor of Business Management majoring in accountancy-tax or equivalent.
• You can fall back on at least 5 relevant work experience.
• You have been able to build experience in a leadership role.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting rules.
• Extensive experience with Excel and preferably Dynamics.
• Good command of the Dutch, French and English languages.
• Proactive attitude and able to take initiatives and suggest improvements.
• Strong administrative skills and a structured way of working.

Within this role, you will report directly to the CFO.
