Sales engineer southern Netherlands

For the position of sales engineer, you will be responsible for active prospecting, maintaining and further expanding the existing customer portfolio. You analyse customers' needs and propose technical solutions that meet their wishes and expectations. Your customers are found in various sectors such as (petro)chemical, food, paint, industrial...

You develop technical quotations together with your inside sales colleague and negotiate customised solutions. You also provide commercial-technical support to the sales team and ensure correct follow-up and after-care of the concluded contracts. At delivery, you offer technical support to customers to ensure successful implementation.

Clients are situated below Rotterdam.

For this job, you have the following competencies:

• You have a technical bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in electromechanics or chemistry.
• Experience within the process industry is a big plus.
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or chemical processes is important.
• Commercial drive and ability to build trust with customers.
• You are flexible to relocate in the South of the Netherlands. There is no office in the Netherlands, but it is negotiable when you go to the office in Zwijndrecht.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English.

This company specialises in designing and manufacturing industrial agitators/mixers for various industries. These mixers are the heart of production for their customers' processes. It is a family business with a total of around 24 employees. Their office/production is located in Zwijndrecht. In Belgium, they are the narrowest producer. This company also has a wide customer base in the south of the Netherlands.

Our client is going for the following value package for this sales engineer position:

• A gross monthly salary depending on knowledge and experience.
• A full-time job of 39 hours per week, with 6 ADV days.
