Quality inspector

As a quality inspector you are responsible for the following tasks:

• You are/will be our measurement specialist and specialist for technical plans.
• The final quality assurance of our products before they leave for the customer in collaboration with the sales department (whether or not using statistical process techniques).
• Interim checks on the quality of our products in production.
• Dimensional checks according to predefined measurement protocols.
• Drafting of new measurement protocols.
• Programming of measuring devices such as contour tracer, CMM, etc.
• Managing our measuring devices and recording their calibration both internally and externally.
• Supporting and training colleagues.
• You think along on a daily basis to improve and monitor the quality of our products more efficiently.

Our client specialises in machining parts from high quality plastics and composites for demanding applications in industries such as aerospace, automotive, machine building, life sciences, pumps and valves, food industry, pharmaceuticals and textiles. They have been operating since 1989 and are ISO 9100 and 9001 certified.

As a quality inspector, you largely meet the following requirements:

• Training in measurement and control technology or equivalent through experience or experience in the machining industry with an interest in quality.
• Good basic knowledge of measurement equipment such as a micrometer, measuring microscope, CCM, roughness meter, profile projector, etc.
• You are an expert in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of statistical process techniques or willingness to learn.
• You work independently, meticulously and have an eye for detail
• Administratively you are structured, punctual and precise
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office
• You have a sense of responsibility, are flexible and have a positive attitude
• Experience in a technical and/or machining and/or plastics processing environment is a plus
