  • Flexible hours on a monthly basis, starting between 7-9 in the morning.
  • 35 days of leave, including 20 statutory and 15 adv days (40 hours in a 37.5 hour system).
  • Collective leave during the last week of July and the first week of August and between Christmas and New Year.

Function

As Quality Engineer you ensure that the quality and performance of the focus plant meet the requirements of the customer. You support the development and implementation of the quality management system. You will report to the Focus Factory Manager and the Site Quality Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of a zero defect policy within the Focus Factory.
  • Develop and organise standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation. Responsible for the pre-production approval process (PPAP).
  • Designing procedures for sampling.
  • Representing the quality function in the area of technical support, in cooperation with other internal support groups.
  • Coaching and training of employees within the Focus Factory.
  • Maintaining contacts with customers and supplier representatives on quality issues.
  • Supervising employees engaged in measuring and testing products and in collecting data on the quality and reliability of materials, products or processes.
  • Supervise document and data control, inspection standards, quality work procedures, work instructions and visual checks.
  • Supporting quality improvement programmes to improve TBS/TQM.

Profile

  • You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing or industrial engineering or equivalent experience

  • Preferably a first work experience as quality engineer, in a production environment in the automotive industry.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and a thorough knowledge of quality standards and their implementation.
  • You understand drawings and GD&T.
  • Experience in programming and operating CMMs is a plus.
  • You can work independently and you are able to grasp opportunities immediately
  • You are hands-on and have strong mentoring, leadership and teaching skills.
