Function

As E&I Project Manager, you will take on the following range of tasks: 


  • Prepares applications for investment budgets
  • Responsible for achieving the project within this established budget, timing and scope
  • Prepares competition and implementation dossiers (incl. preparation of technical descriptions)
  • Participates in purchasing activities related to projects (technical specification of goods/works, discussions and tours with suppliers, checking materials delivered/works carried out, checking invoices, etc.)
  • Contributes to project planning (including resource planning)
  • Consults the implementation file with the site managers regarding the realisation of projects
  • Provides any technical support during project execution and additionally supervises himself if necessary or project-critical.
  • Follow-up, give approval for implementation and provide technical support for projects carried out by an external engineering firm
  • Respects agreed deadlines and budgets for project delivery
  • Participates in risk analyses and provides advice within the framework of its domain, and ensures the incorporation of the measures to be taken into the design
  • Participation in high voltage standby duty after a training period (theoretical and practical)

Profile

The colleague we are looking for recognises herself in the profile below:

  • You obtained a Master or Bachelor degree in a technical field (Electricity, Automation, Electromechanics ...)
  • You gained at least 5 years' experience in the E/I aspects of designing medium- and low-voltage process installations
  • You have knowledge of medium-voltage transformers, rectifiers and medium-voltage cells (open/closed)
  • You have operational knowledge of the legal regulations and directives (AREI, ATEX, SIL, machinery directive, etc.)
  • You are well-versed in industrial measuring instruments (temperature, pressure, level, pH, etc.)
  • Cable calculations, eexi calculations (intrinsically safe power chains) are also familiar to you
  • You are skilled in analysing, reporting, organising and resolving technical issues through study requests
  • You are a strong communicator and you really enjoy working with colleagues's from different departments
  • You enjoy taking initiative 
  • Experience in using EPLAN P8 and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Teams, ...)
  • Thorough knowledge of English, both oral and written.
