Project Manager

You will join a dynamic team with pleasant colleagues.
Our client expects you to be able to work independently. This does not require you to be in the office every day. All communication can take place via modern communication tools. You will therefore be given confidence and freedom.
Remuneration is highly competitive and depends on your experience and commitment.
Basically, they are looking for freelancers, as it is project-based, but if you want to work there permanently/temporarily, this is also definitely negotiable.
This is a full-time position. Deviating hours are negotiable.

As a project manager, you will go out on the road at least 1 day a week to screen proposed sites. These may include commercial premises, former bank branches, shopping centres, premises provided by a municipality, etc. You have to check whether the site technically qualifies for the specified programme of requirements. Various aspects need to be examined, including location, accessibility for disabled persons, electrical installation, support structure, facade construction, compartmentalisation, technical feasibility, licensing strategy, etc.

If the property is satisfactory, you will draw out the plan in Autocad and prepare a technical report. This report will form part of the lease agreement and will be used by your colleagues who draw up the execution file and follow up the works.

In some cases, you will have to submit your files to the stability engineer, prepare the corresponding stability plans and monitor the works.

As an architectural firm, our client had already built up years of expertise in the banking sector. Thanks to their experience, they were assigned to the roll-out of a national project to install ATMs throughout Belgium. The project is to be completed by 2025.

Due to the size and timing of this project, we are looking for 3 project managers, spread throughout Belgium. Preferably 2 French-speaking employees for the regions Liège, Namur and Luxembourg. Our client prefers a freelance collaboration, but employment as an employee is also negotiable.

You should be able to:
- Have structural and analytical understanding with knowledge of electricity, HVAC, stability, ...
- elaborate plans in Autocad
- communicate professionally in Dutch and/or French, both orally and in writing.
