Function

As Project Leader Continuous Improvement, you are the driving force behind the improvement and innovation projects in the areas of production techniques, digitalisation, logistics.... To this end, you work with various work groups that - depending on the subject - can consist of stakeholders, engineers, analysts and IT people who work together on one or more projects. You facilitate these work groups and ensure that the meetings run smoothly and efficiently, and you coordinate with internal and external parties where necessary. Based on your own expertise, you also give input to the group. In addition, you monitor milestones in time and budgets. You report to the management on a weekly basis.

Our client is an internationally oriented company, active in the supply of metal press work, pressure vessels and assembly to industrial customers. Profile

Ideally, in this position you will have an affinity with the following:

  • You are a good people manager with proven organisational talent, and you enjoy a project-based approach.
  • You preferably have a technical education at master level.
  • Experience with digitalisation, ERP, MES, but also improvement techniques, Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen are an asset.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • You fit into a no-nonsense, pragmatic and flat corporate culture and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
