Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Product development (80% time commitment)
• 3D mechanical design in Inventor
• Conceptual consultation with sales and with engineering colleagues (software + electrical)
• Creating detailed drawings for component suppliers
• Self-assembly of first prototype
• Preparation of assembly instructions, FAT documentation, BOM

You will report to the COO and work closely with colleagues's from different departments, such as engineering and production.

• Education: Industrial engineer or Bachelor of Electromechanics
• Minimum of a first working experience in a similar position
• Languages: Good knowledge of Dutch and English, able to use French
• Experience with 3D mechanical design
• Material knowledge such as surface finishing and 3D printing
• Knowledge of standards for milling, turning and bending work is a plus
• Customer- and service-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• ERP knowledge or experience with documentation management

This SME is a family business with 2 branches (Belgium and the Netherlands). They specialise in industrial cleaning equipment and can take care of customers' projects from start to finish. They do this for standard machines and customised projects. The after-sales service is also in-house. In Nazareth, they are located in a completely new modern building where the office's and production sit together.
