Project Engineer

You will be working in a pleasant SME with about 15 employees where there is a good group atmosphere. Moreover, you will be working in a stable environment. Good supervision and training are provided. Furthermore, you can count on a nice gross salary complemented by eco cheques, a mobile phone and a laptop.
Work is done in a 38-hour week whereby work stops at 2.30 pm on Fridays and your weekend can start 2 hours earlier.

As a project engineer, your responsibilities include the following:

• You will be in direct contact with customers for technical product support on a daily basis.
• You supervise and follow up projects.
• You manage the production planning in consultation with the production manager.
• You are jointly responsible for product development and optimisation.
• You consult with other departments within the company in order to optimise processes (production, orders, administration,...)
• You provide internal technical support to the sales department and to the technicians.
• You launch contests and follow them up.
• You manage the technical documentation.
• You are familiar with electrical diagrams and can also draw them (SEE electrical).
• You assist the team with continuous improvement in various areas.

Our client specialises in the production of AdBlue pumping systems and telemetry systems. They are active in Europe, USA, Brazil, Australia and Asia. This makes them one of the largest manufacturers of AdBlue units and telemetry systems. At present, they are expanding due to increasing demand in these young and dynamic markets. In order to realise further growth and diversification, they are looking for a motivated Project Engineer.

As a project engineer, you can tick off the following items:

• You have at least an A2 or Bachelor's degree in an industrial/electrical field or equivalent through experience.
• You can draw electrical diagrams. We work with SEE electrical, but if you have experience with another programme, this is also good.
• You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English. French is a plus but not a must.
• You are familiar with the most current software programs (Word, Excel,...)
• You are a communicative team player with a hands-on mentality.
• You are motivated and like to take initiative.
• You have a driving licence B.
• You report directly to the manager.
