Automation project manager

• You will be responsible for projects around automation (PLC, sensors, HMI's, ...).
  
• You manage the start-up of new installations on site at the customer's premises
• You will be responsible for analysing and troubleshooting PLC's failures
• You will be responsible for the optimisation of the machines at the electrical and software level
• You are the point of contact for customers regarding automation of their packaging lines
• You will educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of the machines
• You will immerse yourself in new developments within your field and contribute ideas

Our client specialises in total packaging machine projects. They distribute several brands and provide total packaging solutions tailored to the customer's needs. They advise companies on the optimisation of production processes. This SME employs 40 people, their projects are mainly in the Benelux and the beautiful new office building is located on the outskirts of Gent.... Due to growth, they are looking for a Project Leader Automation.  

• You have a Master's degree in industrial engineering or are equivalent through experience
  
• You have good knowledge and/or experience with PLC's (preferably Siemens S7 and TIA Portal)
• You have good electrical knowledge
• You are familiar with communication systems between machines
• You can communicate well with customers and your colleagues's
• You have a hands-on mentality
• You enjoy being on the road
