Project Manager

The primary responsibility of the project manager is to design the park and implement energy projects, specifically:

• Corporate speaker to local municipalities, regional authorities and the media during the realisation of the energy park
• Ensuring legal implementation of facilities related to urban development
• Ensuring that the requirements of building permits are met and fulfilled during the realisation of the energy park
• Advising the development department in developing the design and implementation of the energy park and technical details for the construction application
• Contact for the relevant plant owners/tenants and local municipalities and regional authorities
• Follow-up on negotiations on the energy park facilities as required for construction implementation with the relevant landowners/tenants and municipalities
• Follow-up on compensation scheme for land damage caused during construction realisation
• Participate in the planning and budgeting of project implementation
• Organising the pre-selection of external engineering and study firms for the project design
• Follow-up on the engineering of civil and electrical infrastructure
• Ensure timely completion and within budget and according to the project company's HSE and CSR policies
• Ensure adequate reporting of project progress and assessment of risk's to management

Our Project Manager:

• preferably holds a (technical) master's degree or is equivalent through experience
• has 3-4 years' experience in a similar environment
• has experience in monitoring and planning projects
• has a specialisation in (renewable) energy (is a plus)
• can speak and write very fluently in Dutch, but also has a good knowledge of French and English (nice plus)
• is assertive and communicative
• likes making and maintaining contacts
• can coordinate and plan work, work with deadlines and set priorities
• can adapt to changing circumstances to ensure continuity within the operation
• can tackle problems and tasks without being explicitly asked or without circumstances forcing it
• know what requirements the operation must meet and you make the necessary efforts to meet these quality requirements
• You know the responsibilities inherent to your job and you can carry these responsibilities. You are discreet and professional in the performance of your duties
• enjoy working in a team and you can commit to achieving common goals, but at the same time you can also complete a task successfully without help or supervision
