Project Engineer with international travel

For a progressive client, we are urgently looking for a driven and adventurous Project Engineer. Do you enjoy international adventures? In the role of Project Engineer, you will play a vital role within the engineering team. You will start by supporting projects and accounts, gradually growing into the role of full-fledged Project Engineer where you will manage your own clients and projects. Operations:

• Support projects and accounts in back office engineering.
• Maintain close contact with customers as first point of contact.
• Perform drawing work and prepare technical documentation.
• Responsible for cost efficiency in projects.
• Working with an established team of technicians to ensure customer intimacy.
• Travel to client sites for project implementations and maintain client relationships; you will be home for at least two weeks after a project.
• Upgrading older machines with new technologies.

It requires a dynamic team player with a passion for adventure, responsibility and international cooperation. You will be valued for your intelligence, flexibility and practical experience. Ideal candidates possess:

• Education or initial experience in mechanical or electromechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in use of software such as TIA Portal.
• Experience in drawing and technical support.
• A proactive attitude and ownership of projects.
• Willingness to travel frequently internationally.
• Ability to maintain customer relationships and act as the first point of contact.
• Communication skills in English and preferably Dutch. Knowledge of Spanish or other languages are definitely a plus.
• Flexibility to sometimes work from home, although most like to be in the office.
