Project Engineer
Function
For our client in the North of Antwerp, we are looking for a Project Engineer. Your duties will include the following tasks:
- You will manage projects from A-Z for clients in the process industry (food & chemical).
- You will do detailed engineering of the projects.
- Managing execution, budget and planning of various projects are your responsibility.
- Requesting quotations, preparing orders, P&ID's... are part of your duties.
- You are the single point of contact for the customer
- You look for the right suppliers and you negotiate for the purchase of parts.
- You work in a team with other project engineers and also collaborate with the different departments of the company (e.g.: Automation and electrical department)
- You will report to the Project Manager.
Profile
For the position of Project Engineer, we are looking for the following profile:
- You have a Bachelor/Master's degree in a technical field
- Dutch & English language skills are required.
- You have an interest and/or knowledge in process engineering.
- You have a commercial mindset & organisational skills.
- You are open to short trips abroad to visit customers & suppliers.
