Project Engineer

Our client is offering an immediate permanent contract for the position of project engineer. This is a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with no weekend work (8.30am-17.30pm).

Our client is happy to discuss the financial picture during the exploratory interview. This depends heavily on your relevant experience, career path. However, there are standard 32 days of leave per year that can be planned freely. 

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical design of industrial solar panel installations and battery systems. You are also involved in the calculation and design of installation plans and cabling and the development of new solar-related products. Furthermore, you carry out site visits and follow up on projects. You interact smoothly with various parties such as employees, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, inspection authorities and grid managers.

• After a thorough training, you will start with the technical design of industrial solar panel installations and battery systems for the domestic and international market.
• You will calculate and draw installation plans and cabling.
• You will also develop new solar-related products.
• Your duties also include creating electrical diagrams, applying for certification, helping write grant files.
• Smooth interaction with colleagues, customers, subcontractors,... is of paramount importance here.
• You are always looking for improvement opportunities, so that we can continue to grow as a company and as a team. This in terms of planning, organisation and further follow-up.
