Function

As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

  • You are the single point of contact for implementation of product modifications and start-up of new products on the assembly line.
  • You will be in close contact with product managers, R&D, production and field technicians.
  • You will go over the product roadmap with the departments.
  • You prepare documentation for efficient assembly processes.
  • You propose routings, workflows and layout of workstations.
  • You optimise assembly processes and make improvements.
  • You do on-site documentation of production processes and problems.
  • You pass on problems to R&D if necessary.
  • You are hands-on and technically savvy and enjoy spending time on the shop floor.
  • You can motivate a team to work according to QSHE standards so that everything is done in a safe, efficient and quality manner.
  • You will collaborate on Lean objectives and continuous improvements.
  • You are responsible for introducing product changes and new methods as well as new products with the right methodology.
  • You will adapt bills of materials for proposed assembly processes.
  • You document repairs for future improvements.

Profile

As a Production Engineer, you will largely meet the following requirements:

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.
  • You have an affinity for electrical and mechanical components.
  • You have experience in starting up production lines in an assembly environment.
  • You are familiar with the principles of Lean Management.
  • You enjoy researching new developments within production technology.
  • You have a sense of initiative, are stress-resistant and dynamic.
  • You have a hands-on attitude.
  • You have a good knowledge of English and Dutch.
  • You are fluent with MS Office mainly Excel.
  • Knowledge of 3D design is a plus.
