Surveyor

As a surveyor at our client in Roeselare or Ghent, you will be responsible for the following:

• Carefully take final measurements from customers and identify technical challenges and potential complications in advance
• Confirm that the project is technically feasible and relevant
• Prepare a report with the measurements and, based on these, create the necessary order forms to initiate production
• Complete the file at logistics and implementation level
• Facilitate and support the process of project initiation, execution and completion on site

A fellow surveyor testifies:

"First, I go over the quotation in detail with the customer. Then I start measuring windows and doors. I also advise the customer on finishing: direction of rotation, accessories, etc. I note everything down for the fitters and put it on a plan. I take around four measurements a day. In the late afternoon, I finally work out the files."

For the position of surveyor, you have the following competencies:

• A bachelor's degree in an engineering or construction field is appreciated
• Having proven experience in the construction industry or a similar position is an added advantage
• You are focused on customer satisfaction and understand customers' technical needs
• You are flexible and adept at multitasking
• Working under complex conditions does not scare you, you like responsibilities, are stress resistant and strive for results
• You can handle both technical and administrative tasks effortlessly
• Knowledge of Dutch is essential, knowledge of a second language is an additional asset
